SENIOR TRIP '07

Been to the river named Arkansas in South Central Colorado.
--1200 miles in an unmarked, white van: survivable.
--11 of the most awesome people in my life traveling 1200 miles with me: do-able.
--11 of the most fearless people I know traveling a mere 18 miles down the Arkansas River: strikingingly resilient
--Meeting a guide named Paulo: eery calmness
--Riding the bull while on the Arkansas River: like being Superman
--Being attacked by killer flying ants atop Skyline Drive: life-threatening yet comical
--Making memories with the Class of '07 while maneuvering down the Arkansas river, while conversing with Dave & Paulo, while riding the bull, while surviving killer ants, while in a van that was at times down by the river: PRICELESS!

(Thanks to Reid, Trey, Jonathan, Ben, Katie, Erin, Lane, LaNette, Rusty, & Lindsay for an incredible trip! You people rock!!!!!)

After Glow Foul UP!!

Hey there guys, just wanted to let you all know about a small mistake I made, I sent the invite cards for this coming Sunday nights afterglow out to the wrong grade. The students that are going to be freshman are not the ones that should have received those cards. Instead it should have been our now 7Th graders that will be eighth graders. Sorry about that miss understanding!! So NEW 8Th Graders we will have an After Glow following our evening worship service this week! We are heading to the McConnell's home for spaghetti and swimming. Parents please pick up your student from the McConnell's house at 9:30!! The address is 21266 Three Creek Dr. Edmond OK. (Directions from the church: Take May North to W. Mission Springs Dr. Turn Left onto N. Three Creek Dr. The house is the last house on the right) Thank you guys for your understanding of my human mistakes! Sorry!

Boot Camp Is Coming

Hey new students (new 6Th graders and 7Th graders), just wanted to officially invite all of you to our upcoming Boot Camp orientation. This will be a fun time of showing you what all our student ministry has to offer you as you grow and develop in your walk with Christ. The 6Th grade BC will be July 23-25 and the 7Th grade will be July 30-August 1. In the morning we will be walking through the different areas of ministry within our student ministry. In the afternoon we will be going out on the town for a great time of fellowship and fun. Monday we will be heading to Lazer Quest, Tuesday to the Dilbeck's home for swimming, and Wednesday to Incredible Pizza for food and games. The cost is $30 and you can register on the QSBC.org web page. Lastly, if you are a Sr. High student we may be contacting you about coming and investing in the new students over the weeks. If you are a new 8Th grader, we will also be contacting you about being involved in some leadership ways. We look forward to a great time with you all! Boot Camp 07 is gonna be awesome!
